As you read this post, there are almost two dozen men and one woman traveling across the United States, appearing before audiences in small and large arenas, making speeches, shaking hands, hugging babies, and being introduced over loudspeakers, every single one of the two dozen as:

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the Next President of the United States"
